1. Program Description The RIKEN Research Center for Allergy and Immunology (RCAI), the first and largest research institution dedicated to allergy and immunology in Japan, is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our seventh International Summer Program co-organized by the Chiba University G-COE program. This program aims to provide young scientists with the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge immunology research. The program will consist of lectures by internationally distinguished immunologists and presentations by each participant. It is open to both talented graduate students and young postdocs, with lodging and travel expenses fully covered. Up to 40 participants will be invited to spend a week (from June 22 to June 29) at the RCAI facilities in Yokohama, during which all members will also attend the RCAI-JSI International Symposium on Immunology 2012. The Summer Program lecture course was developed to present both basic concepts and state-of-the-art research in order to promote better understanding of allergy and immunology. Up to four scientists from the Summer Program will remain for an additional month as Summer Interns. During this Summer Internship (from July 2 to July 27), participants will carry out research activities at a specific RCAI laboratory following the summer lecture course. ![]() RISP Poster Download (PDF 1.04MB) |
